Darn Good Barn Wood is a creative partnership dedicated to alternative furniture solutions. We are a combination art studio/woodshop located in an agricultural setting west of Providence, Rhode Island.

Our designs draw their inspiration from the charm and character of vintage lumber and its rebirth as durable furniture for everyday living.

By design, our mission is environmentally friendly. We are committed to sustainable sources of aged pine, chestnut, ash and oak. And we protect the natural beauty of each surface with high quality, water based polyurethane and natural wax finishes.

Many of our creations often evolve directly from the size and shape of the boards and beams we select. Others are tailored to the dimensions and finishes that you desire to fit your home or work space.

From distinctive tables and other stuff to custom cabinetry and built-ins, we strive to make affordable, one of a kind pieces that compliment any decor.
